Create an account first. Router setup requests are made from your secure business workspace.
Your hotspot workspace at a glance
Your operation, organized
Keep everyday administration clear, and know what is ready — and what still needs a verified router connection.
Organize internet packages, generate unique voucher codes, and retrieve or print codes from your tenant-protected workspace.
See your setup status and manage device records in one place. Usage reports show historical accounting data only when trusted updates have actually been received.
Request a visit, share your router model and preferred time, then follow the onboarding status. A checklist alone does not mark a router ready.
Know before you connect
Router support depends on the exact model, firmware, controller and verified integration path. Adding a device record does not mean it is connected.
REST adapter code exists. No physical router is verified; writes are disabled by default and activation is unsupported until absolute expiry is enforced.
No driver or model-specific connection test is implemented.
Controller/API adapter and hardware verification are still required.
Network application adapter and supported workflow are not implemented.
No packet listener, authenticator or working RADIUS accounting integration is available yet.
A straightforward start
Start with the information you have. AFRINEXA keeps your hotspot in setup until the required integration checks are confirmed.
Register your business and owner account. Your workspace is private to your business and begins in pending setup.
Sign in, record your router vendor, model and firmware, then request a technician visit for a preferred time window.
Once supported router checks are actually confirmed, use the enabled workspace features. A visit checklist by itself cannot activate a router.
Clear about fees
AFRINEXA does not currently publish a subscription price or collect payments in the app.
The platform can configure a mobile-money voucher purchase fee (initial setting UGX 100), plus owner withdrawal and printed-voucher fees. The latter start disabled. Payment processing is not implemented, so these settings do not collect or deduct money.
Technician scheduling is an onboarding workflow, not a guarantee of an available appointment or an undisclosed charge. Ask the AFRINEXA team about visit availability and any service terms before booking.
Request router setupMobile-money integration is not connected. No payment is initiated, no fee is deducted, and no transaction is reported as successful by this landing page.
Good to know
Hotspot owners can register a business account with owner, contact, business-name and location details. The server assigns the owner role and creates the tenant; setup starts pending.
Create an account and sign in, then open Technician onboarding in your business workspace. Enter your router vendor, model/firmware and preferred time window. A request is not a confirmed appointment until scheduled.
Compatibility depends on the exact model, firmware and integration mode. MikroTik has an adapter tested with mocked HTTP responses but not physical hardware; writes are disabled by default. Reyee, Omada, UniFi and RADIUS drivers are planned, not currently working integrations.
AFRINEXA tracks an absolute expiry timestamp and rejects expired vouchers in application flows. Router-side expiry synchronization is not complete, so MikroTik voucher activation remains unsupported. Extending an expiry in AFRINEXA does not change router access.
No. A provider has not been selected or connected. Fee settings can be configured, but payments are not initiated, collected or marked successful.
The report can store and display authenticated, normalized accounting updates received by its ingestion layer. No live vendor or RADIUS adapter currently sends updates to it; a current router counter is not presented as historical usage.
Start with your business
Create your workspace, then request setup help when you are ready. Your equipment will only be marked ready after its required checks are verified.
